"I was dying of fear...
My hands were shaking just imagining myself on a stage in front of an audience, with a light over my head."Francesca - The Magic of Butterflies
This is for you, if:
You are a musician or you are dedicated to any other artistic expression and you want to learn to enjoy your art.
You are a teacher and you are looking to approach the subject of stage fright with your students, in different learning areas, in a responsible, didactic and pedagogical way.
You are part of the family of a young performer and you want to help him/her understand stage fright from childhood.
Why choose “The Magic of Butterflies“?
9 out of 10 musicians
suffer from stage fright.
Did you know that, in many cases,
stage fright is learned
and results from a pedagogical error?
Many times, teachers suffer from it and
we do not have the tools to address it and,
consequently, we transmit it.
The symptoms of this unpleasure can be
physical, mental and emotional.
“The magic of butterflies” is a valuable tool
to address the topic in the family, school,
conservatory, classroom and wherever you like!
When writing “The Magic of Butterflies“, I understood that literature could connect perfectly with my most playful side and with my imagination, recreating moments that I have lived together with music.
This, and my vocation to help artists, resulted in a useful and didactic story that helps to achieve what many believe to be impossible: overcoming stage fright.
I am Ayelén Correa, teacher, pianist and specialist in Stage Fright and Emotional Interpretation.
My mission is to help music professionals overcome stage fright, transforming that feeling into full enjoyment. I am convinced that literature and music are the perfec combination for children, teenagers and adults to learn to enjoy their art and to share it with others on stage.
For this reason, I develop playful and didactic tools applicable to everyday life, which generate the appropriate space to address the issues involved in the artistic exhibition.

How it came about
"Making music is like when we eat a chocolate that we like so much, but so much that after we eat it, we want to share it with others. But it's never the other way around. It all starts with you first.”

No matter what age or stage of artistic life you are in, The Magic of Butterflies will help you learn to connect with the sense of fulfillment and pleasure that comes from enjoying your art.
My purpose as a professional, my training as a specialist and my vocation to help are combined in this story that will not provide you with a magic solution, but will provide you with tools to discover that the possibility of overcoming stage fright is within everyone s reach.
“I stood in front of the audience, closed my eyes and felt my feet move on the stage floor. Right there I could feel how the magic of the butterflies floated around me and enveloped each note coming out of the violin with their brilliance."
